Complete Gamers Lair. Above the eagle, there is a framed program signed by all of megadeth.

My little Thermal Take Lanbox lite.

And my gaming collection. I refuse to "Borrow" games from the internet.

    Re: Where Do You EggXpert?

Im probably gonna rearange the setup and put the tower on the right[where the sub is (in the pic it was already rearanged, screen was on the right were the sub is and the sub was on top of the tower) so I can admire my build through the side window  XD

anyway... on to the pics (click to make them bigger) :

current junky $10 headphones I am using now (no mic)

still rocking with the 13yr old IBM keyboard, 17" viewsonic CRT, and 2-3w boston 2.1 sound system (all found in the trash) lol  Cool

    EDIT:

    rearranged desktop (light & dark)

am I the only one who uses a CRT d:

    and also single screen...

LOL. You know I hadn't realized either Joe dude, how many of us are indeed runing multiple LCDs. lol. Guess if one's gonna get into this hobby, business, whatever, mught as well go all the way. In my case, I'm not running dual though, I got two PCs going on the same desk. Ones the work box, with all the apps I use, and the other, the fun box, with the badder arse GPU.

You're still using a CRT aye? I just gave away my last one I was using a few months back, a big ol' 22" Gateway. The thing was actually a great monitor, but it wieghed about 80 lbs and heated my bedroom! lmao. Seriously, I swear my electric bill went down about $5 a month after I gave it away.

Give any thought to pricing out a flat screen? Man you can get a 19" for $120 shipped, 22" for $150 as of late, really inexpensive now.

    Peace, Pene

will be getting a 22" or so at the end of this month

the ASUS 1080p screens are looking pretty good so might get the 23" ver of that

I would do dual screen except for the lack of another DVI to VGA adapter prevented it right now, I have about 8 CRT's not in use right now, lol

    Re: Where Do You EggXpert?

Actually,I do have "cable management" But that's only for like 4 wires coming from the front panel. There is the issue of having too long of SATA cables and too short of PSU leads to actually DO any cable-management.Trust me.I've tried.

    Re: Where Do You EggXpert?

Actually i have to agree with dragunover, at time cable management can be harder. Pics will demonstrate . Wrong place for this post i'm sure but had to demonstrate a point.

    Re: Where Do You EggXpert?

This pic is just displaying the desk portion of my gaming lair. Note that everything in this picture, including the pc and all of its parts, excluding the stereo and desk, were bought from Newegg.com. You can see my Acer 17.1" laptop, my Xbox 360, my two Xbox 360 controllers (red and white), my sweat-reducing fan, my custom gaming rig, my 22" Asus monitor, my Logitech MX3200 wireless mouse and keyboard, my PSP, my Onkyo 5.1 channel stereo receiver, and one of my four Marantz speakers which include a 10" sub, 4" mid, a 1 1/2" tweeter, and a 1" super tweeter.

This pic includes a greater look at my 1080p Asus monitor, my Labtec mic, a spare hard drive, my Logitech Attack 3 Joystick, and if you are wondering what that hunk of metal is on top of my Xbox, that is a custom nameplate that says "Chappy," which is my Live Gamertag.

Finally, a look at the TV cabinet, pictured here is my 24" TV, two of my four Marantz speakers, my game collection, my old Xbox, my gaming rocker, and a whole cabinet full of computer and A/V goodies.

    PC specs:

    Xion case w/ green LEDs

    Foxconn motherboard

Intel Quad Core overclocked to 3.2GHz

    Evga 8800gts video card

    2x Samsung Spinpoint 500gb hdd 32mb cache w/ RAID 0

    LG 22x DVD+rw w/ Lightscribe

    140mm case fan, green LED

Thermaltake 120mm and 80mm fans, green LED

    2x 120mm fans

    Logysis green LED case feet

Note that Xbox 360 is running VGA through my monitor and digital optical through my surround sound.

Not pictured is my 12" sub, my huge collection of downloaded games, my 8GB Corsair Flash Voyager flash drive, and my ever-present bag of Chex Mix.

    Re: Where Do You EggXpert?

Dragunover; your pics drove me nuts because for some reason I felt the PSU you had was a Rosewill. In fact, I even searched to find similar ones because I was concerned for your computer's safety. Here are the PSUs I narrowed it down to that you likely had. If it's not Rosewill, GOOD. Anything Rosewill is just ASKING to break, let alone a PSU. Even if they had ANY "well-rated" PSUs, I would not even recommend them to my worst enemy, that is my distaste for everything they sell...

Very nice CM!  I need to revisit CM 101 Tongue Tied

Now that I look at this photo, ..... I actually have this very case, I just ordered it, and it is fantastic! (Cooler Master Centurion 690!!) The MB almost looks the same too Gigabyte 740g, close; AND I have an 8800gt.. nice pick.  I've been having a bit of a HDD issue so I dont have it completely setup and running yet, but it's probably one of the best cases I've come across.

u want see cable management? check this out!

yea, lots of weird spots for my hardware, lots of weird lengths of cables, some super long, some super short, SATA cable connectors at right angles, really anxious to get it done, best of all; no zip ties.

I know, there is no space... but I live in a small duplex with 3 other gamers.

Taken with my crappy phone as I do not have a digital camera.

I was planning on buying the Plantronics 367 Gaming headset, but now I think I'll wait :)
