    They seem so random, different and well-photographed... like a folder of sample images? Maybe there are differences from the default windows folder?

    Q: After we find the important parts does the answer pop out? (As opposed to still having to do something with that information.)

    In two of the pictures, color is important - in the others, it isn't.

    This most likely refers to the stoplight on green and the stoplight on red...

    At first I thought maybe the pictures coincided with a real life event or series of events.  Life a robbery in a white van that stole a vase, etc...But the pictures seem to span too wide a range to have that actually happen.  Therefore, I think all of the clues point to a movie.  I'm not sure which or how to place the scenes.  So if  you can figure it out, go for it.

    After much wailing and gnashing of teeth - we have a winner!  I believe the prize is four spaces from the Prize Box...  Pick away!

    I'll post a FULL solution and the next puzzle momentarily...

    Everybody pretty much figured out everything to do with the graphics.  The first one needed to be reorganized into a 4x4 grid...



    ...which told you how to use the second one.  The "words" and colors were simply for misdirection!



    This was the clue needed to solve the third part, though you still had to do some work figuring out the cypher.



    The video was of course the climax of the puzzle - each image could be described by one word, and each group of three images started with the same letter...

    vault - van - vase
    elevator - electricity - egg
    glacier - green - gas
    antlers - accordian - alley
    ship/sails - salad - sand
    people/pedestrians - pie - pier
    yak - yogurt - yard
    road - rails - red
    aurora - artichoke - Apache
    music - money - mist/mountains
    incline - ink - illumination
    Dodge - denim - dredge

    ...spelling out VEGAS PYRAMID.  Some quick Google "research" will tell you that the Luxor hotel and casino in Las Vegas is indeed a pyramid!

    As far as context goes, my roommates and I have decided to hit the strip for spring break, since three of us are graduating this year.  We were going to stay at the Luxor, but have since changed our minds...  Anyway, congrats to mikeduffy for coming up with the solution - sorry for that one being so arduous.  I had no idea it would last so long, seeing as how, once the first part is solved, everything else (besides the video) pretty much falls into place.

    Again, I'll have the next puzzle up in just a bit...

    WA-HOO!!!  Finally!!!  I only have one question left.   What is the picture of the World Trade Center buldings supposed to be?  I mean what is the name of the picture that begins with I...I still haven't figured that one out.

    I'm trying to get a video up that's basically the same as the puzzle video, it just has what the name of each image is supposed to be.  Google video seems to think I'm violating someone's copyrights, though...  Check the link in the earlier post - I'll have it up somewhere eventually.

    Alright...  It just got blocked by the copyright filter at Photobucket too...  I don't understand - literally the only difference between the two videos is that the solution video has subtitles...  Wierd.  Alright, I just posted the sequence of images up above.  mike, the one you were asking about was "illumination".

    Well, this one seems hard as usual. 

     First off the bix box is 10x10 = 100 squares

    There are 25 squares already filled in, which leaves 75 empty squares.

    The small box is 8x8 = 64 squares...so there is a difference of 11 squares.

     If you take all of the letters and numbers in the small box, each number has these letters associated with it.
