I'm no software guru but I barely understood half that article. That kind of stuff is way far ahead of its time, from my understanding at least; why it is in the R&D department of Microsoft. I am interested to see what Win7 will have to offer. I am starting to wonder if it will be like Win2k more of a business OS than a home computer OS. But, a clean cut from the windows based GUI is just odd for me to think about.
I am still trying to get use to Vista. It is by far the best windows operating system I have owned.
I don't see any MS OS getting worse with time either. WinME wasn't worse but more of a side step in class. I don't worry about the so called "vulnerabilities" of Vista because they are the same so called "vulnerabilities" of every other MS OS. This is why I get software to combat the bad people of the world. I have come across no major issues with Vista and will us it for at least the next four years.
At that point in my life I will be out of college, go orangemen, and hopefully running computers so far advanced that Vista will even be outdated.
