    Shipping RAM

I just replaced the RAM on my laptop and now have 2 x 1 GB RAM sticks that I'd like to sell on eBay.  What would be the best way to package the RAM so it doesn't get damaged in shipping.

    Re: Shipping RAM

Use the same stuff newegg sent you to ship your RAM on eBay. Take the box for RAM and put the chips into it; seal it and put in newegg box. Place shipping label over newegg's too. Always use a service where you can get confirmation the product arrived otherwise the buyer will just claim "it never got here; I want my money back!" - eBay is full of scumbags...

    Re: Shipping RAM

Unfortunately the package and box that newegg shipped it in got destroyed.  the RAM package itself wasn't very good, and i don't save boxes too often.

    Re: Shipping RAM

If you don’t have original box, you can pack the sticks with an antistatic plastic bag and then deliver it in a

little box. Remember to put some old newspapers in the box, and posit the sticks in the middle, which can

act as a cushion to shakes during shipping.
