I am planning on the purchase of the above MOBO. I already have a Slot 775 E8500 Processor, and 2 GeForce 8600GT 1GB nVidia SLI Graphics Cards, with 4GB Corsair (4 x CM2X1024 - 6400/800), ALL going into a ANTEC P190 +1200 Case.
I need a MINIMUM of 8 SATA Headers onboard (2-DVDRWs; 2 x 1TB HDs, and a 4 Drive (4 x 750GB HDs) Raid, and this is the only SLI Board that I can find with at least 8 Headers (UNLESS someone has a 'Better' Suggestion)...
The problem is that the 'Reviews' from EUs and Tech Sites ALL (Most) say that the MOBO has to be 'Updated' to accept the 45nm Newer Processors, and I don't have an 'Older' Slot 775 Processor to install and use to Upgrade to my E8500.
So, either I have to wait, or keep looking, or HOPE one of y'all has a BETTER Idea...
