Hello,
as the topic says I'm looking for an inexpensive upgrade my old Sony VAIO RZ34G. It's current specs are as follows; P4SD-VX (i865P) mATX motherboard, Pentium4 Northwood 2.8Ghz 800mhz FSB, 1GB Corsair XMS PC3200 RAM, 300 watt NMB PSU, Radeon X50Pro AGP, 2x PATA Seagate Barracuda Hard Drives.
I would like to keep all my other existing components and only replace the motherboard, CPU and RAM. I've decided on the following parts, but would like to know if they would be the best choice for my situation. I would also like to know if anyone has had experience with any of the new AMD X2 4850e or 4450e CPUs or the 5000X2 Brisbane and if they are supported by this motherboard, as they were released after the last bios revision of the Biostar KM80800. The other major question I have is whether or not Newegg accepts Visa reloadable prepaid cards or Visa gift cards.Any assistance or recommendations would be appreciated greatly. :)
