I got curious today and started looking around at speakers, and one i found was the Logitech X-530. It seems like a good surround system, but I have a few questions. I have no sound card currently, just the 3.5mm jacks on my case and on my rear I/O panel (ASUS P5N-E SLI Motherboard). So my question is would I need a sound card for these speakers? If so, could anyone could give me suggestions which sound card would be ideal.

On a side note, I plan to get my friend a headset for his birthday (His birthday is in a week), So I found one that looks good, if anyone has any opinions about it feel free to suggest anything.
