Dual Monitor help

    Dual Monitor help

    I have support for dual monitors from my mobo. I have this set up as VGA to my regular 17" LCD monitor, and HDMI to my Samsung Flatscreen TV.

    I have been able to have the picture duplicated to the TV, but I have to set the resolution so the LCD looks squished. 

    Gigabyte provided some software utility for enabling the dual monitors as clones or separates, but I haven't been able to make this work.

    Is there a way to set the resolution for the TV separate from the LCD?

    have you gone to gigabytes site to look for mobo updates? if all that is up to date then i would say check the advanced features in the display options (which i would think you already did) and uncheck the clone option.

    Well I went and downloaded the most recent updates for the Mobo. No real changes from the original software. Unchecked clone, but I still don't see any way to have different resolutions for different monitors. 

    Are there any good "how-to" pages out there.
