Wow, this is a really cool idea. There will be multiple cars vying for the same spot - especially in crowded cities, Though I'm sure inevitably people can save money on gas and time. And knowing where parking spaces are doesn't change the fact that there aren't enough parking spaces for the amount of people we have on the roads. And this might also distract people while they're driving because they'll be constantly looking at street signs or their cellphones.
