I ordered it July 2nd, with express processing, and the free 3 day shipping, got it 6 days later lol because of July 4th... so that sucked. I bought the phone with the service at newegg with the 2 year contract.
I got the phone and put the SIM card and battery in and powered it up. All it will do is display a message saying insert smartchip. Thats the SIM card right, well it is inserted, and inserted the only way it will go in, I reinserted it several more times, and it would only go in one way.
I cannot do anything at all with the phone, it just displays that message.
I tried to create an account with AT&T, but I cant verify it because they have to send a text to my phone.
After googling I read the problem is probably a faulty SIM card... is that what it sounds like? I dont know much about phones... what should I do?
