I honestly doubt it.  1st off, the fact that this is a 'last stand' indicates that the situation is pretty dire, and moto is very desparate.  It'll most likey miss the expected release date of october - and whatever moto needs to do, they need to do it soon.  Even if this phone succeeds and the company is saved (which i don't think will happen), they'll just put out different colors of the same phone for 2 more years.

That said, i hope they do work some magic with this, because the more competition in the market, the better for all of us consumers.

er...I truly think Alexander might just be a subsequent product of ZN5 and ZN200. The design concept of MOTO is kinda obsolete, and Nokia's Symbian Deal is threatening, the saying of "last stand" is a little bit harsh but quite possible.

Maybe MOTO should focus on developing advanced phone via new Symbian Foundation.

Nope, don't think it would be the last stand although the situation may be pretty dire.

Hah...might be a kind of strategy to attract more public attention. lol...anyway, it's a good attempt! at least it would help Motorola to win back some market share in the mobile industry. Good luck Moto!

    Re: MOTO's last stand: Alexander

Only thing ive ever really cared for that moto had that other phones didnt is extra loud ringers for older people and well myself. Other than that they've been unattractive and less feature driven than most other phone companies out there.

I would have to say it might have been a good idea to at least put touchscreen on the Q9C windows based phone. People do like that type of stuff.
