Need an MP3 player recommendation (no Ipod Pls)

I am in the market for a new mp3 player. I was wondering what you all think are good players. (please no ipods, I can't deal with itunes)

I have only basic requirements for the player:

    1. 4GB flash or hdd (but most likely flash considering the size)

    2. 10+ hr of battery life for a single charge or battery

    3. easy to use program

    4. radio would be nice but no necessary

    5. Max price is $150 (pre-tax)

    Thanks

Re: Need an MP3 player recommendation (no Ipod Pls)

Not too long ago, I purchased this Samsung MP3 player, and for the most part it is exactly what I wanted out of an MP3 player. It is simple,  very easy to use, and doesn't have any unecessary features. On the plus side, gives you 20+ hrs battery life, has an FM player (a very nice on at that), and delivers sound quality that's rated by many as higher than most MP3 players out there (mostly because of the higher quality headphones). Oh and the biggest plus with this player, for me, is that it's just recognized as an additional storage device in my computer, so I just dump MP3s onto it just like I would any file onto a flash drive. No need for any additional software, and no Itunes hassle.

Re: Need an MP3 player recommendation (no Ipod Pls

i just got this sansa clip that is very decent for my needs

usb charging drag and drop and its expandable via micro sd cards with a pretty decent fm radio as well as an adapter if you have a aux input on your car/home stereo small so it fits easily to fit into a pocket/small space in your car/truck battery life is around 12 hours using the voice recorder and mp3 player, just using the stereo its quite a bit longer but i don't have a time cause i don't listen to it that often

it also has a voice recorder which comes in handy for lectures/meetings if you need something like that

the only thing i've found i don't like about it is the radio uses headphones as an antenna so if you're into small headphones reception might not be the best

thanks for all your help. Looks like i'm going to get the samsung k3. Amazingly, the t10 is actually cheaper than the k3 but it lacks the drag and drop feature which is a bummer.

Thats a very nice Mp3 player. I hear Iriver has some good products. I had a T30 from Iriver. Problem is you cant really reorganize songs thats good and can only use WMP 11.

Re: Need an MP3 player recommendation (no Ipod Pls

Before I got my 30gig Zen Vision:M I was seriously considering the Sandisk Sansa players. Good capacity, well featured, many good reviews and good pricing.  I  believe I was looking at the e260 at the time.

Re: Need an MP3 player recommendation (no Ipod Pls

For your requirement, I’like to suggest the Creative Zen 2.5’ Black 4GB MP3 player. Reasons are as below (each one according to your request):

    1.       This one has 4GB memory, and also support SD card to expand the memory.

    2.       Up to 25 hrs of continuous audio playback.

    3.       operating with customizable main menu

    4.       Built-in FM radio function.

    5.       With a reasonable price.

    Hope it helps. lol
