Hi, Any one like Death Note, either Cartoon, Anime or true man movie. I watched vol 1 and vol 2. I heard from my friend there is vol3, which tell more info about L. I wonder if vol 3 is released and where can I find the DVD. Thank you.

i watched the vol 1 it rocks.

it is said that the vol 3 has been released in japan but not know when it will be released here .

i love death note, but i hate subtitles and listening to other languages, so i have to hope that the live action movies come out in english, or are re made in america,

So I just finished episode 37 of Death Note, and i got to admit, I'm a little disappointed.For some reason i definitely thought Light was going to win. Then when they didn't die, I kind of thought it was all -part of his plan..Like he wanted to toy with them and they actually had like 10 minutes instead of 40seconds. Anyways...

 

I got some questions..

if the Death Note user can't go to heaven or hell, where do they go? And how does one become a Death God?

What happens to Misa. As Near thinks she is the second Kira, does he keep chasing her?

It says after Death Note user dies, he/she will become dust. Never have chance to transmigration.

Death Note was a great anime. I personally enjoy subtitles as I can't stand the english voice actors. Definitely watch it. Make sure to finish it though, I got in the middle of it and started thinking about not watching it any more... But I'm glad I finished it. Very good.

In the manga Ryuk say's that there is no such thing as heaven or hell instead when people die they go to "Nothingness." That's why he said you can neither go to heaven or hell cause neither exist.:

Also according to the manga, Misa dies a little less than a year after light dies (Because she shortened her life span in half twice for shinigami eyes).:

is Death Note really that good? you guys seem so into it.

 i often hear people talking about it too, but only watch comedy every day, i love comedy that makes me laugh a lot

looking forward to more comedies, watching them is a good way to relax and keep me optimistic towards life, work, love.........

I agree I loved the anime but after the final epp when Light dies I was really p****d. It pretty much ruined my day lol, my love for the anime probably dropped from a 10 to 8ish after the final epp.

 I always though Misa dies to early, I mean sure she did shorten her lifespan by half twice, but didnt she get the remaining life spans of the Shinigami who sacraficed themselves to save her?

I really enjoyed Deathnote the anime,  I know a few people that enjoy the manga as well.  I liked the subtitled live action movies the dub for the first part was just horrific though.

But I do enjoy the theme of the story, I mean just imagine having the power to control who lives and who dies.  Interesting.
