Call Of Duty: World At War

Call of Duty 5: World at War will be darker than previous versions and is set once more during WWII ...It's will be coming out for six different platforms (DS, PC, PS2, PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360)

Two campaigns: one of US soldiers in the Pacific and a second of the Russians in Europe.

There will be co-op in this one. First time in a COD game. That should be promising.

Ok, in my personal experience COD4 was the best. Why? Because it wasn't set in WWII... I am so tired of WWII games. They really have over used WWII as a setting, it's time to move on. Anyone agree?

Don't get me wrong, it will probably still be a good game. I just think it could be better as another modern warfare.

well... if Infinity Ward is at the helm of the game it'll be good no matter what they do.

It could take place in my grandfathers basement for all I care. I'd buy it and play it again and again... haha.

But if its not Inifnity, its not worth playing.

As for WWII... it is getting old... but its still fun. I'm just confused... I thought they were done with the whole WWII thing? unless it isn't infinity and it'll be another screw up...

I believe World at War will be developed by Treyarch... So no Infinity Ward Frustrated.

COD3 was boring partially because it was ONCE AGAIN set in WWII. The modern combat stuff in COD4 was awesome, wish they would do more with that engine.

COD 3 sucked cuz it was just bad and boring and completely lackign that spcial something the other had with it. I think 5 will be the same as 3, not because its set in WWII but because it's jsut not gonna be driven and created by the Infinity Ward group.

I don't get why there wasn't an expansion pack made for CoD 4.  Everyone has said they loved the game but also thought it was too short.  Being that CoD 5 isn't set during modern times, it seems an expansion pack would have been a logical step.
