    volt mod

i resentlly did a volt mod to my 7900gt, its running 635MHz core vs 450MHz   and    895MHz vs 660MHz memory

the temps get as high as 88c while playing "frontlines: fuels of war"

meanwhile the fan speed of the gpu stays normal never increasing to combat the high temps. im thinking the stock fan speed control is not working the way it should,

i was able to get the fan speed to 100% with ntune, and rivatuner, only to have it go back to normal speed when i start a 3d program or game. i have a 120mm fan strapped to the bottom of the gpu and the case is above average cooling.

    any ideas people?

    Re: volt mod

on rivatuner there is a "apply when windows starts" choice and that needs to be turned on for it to save your settings.
