Overclocking Phenom 9550 on stock cool and voltage

Okay, so I built my new system with an Asus M3N78-EMH HDMI board. I'm using a Phenom 9550. Forget about BIOS overclocking, it hits the roof and anything about a FSB of 210. The system won't even start and I have to clear the CMOS. Even with Asus's C.P.R., I still have to clear the CMOS. I want to take this thing as far as I can on stock voltage and stock cooling. I've been able to ease it up to 2.5 using Nvidia's overclocking utilities. I set the FSB to 230, and turn the multiplier on the HT link down from 9 to 7. Unfortunately, When I try and load that saved  preset right away, my system seizes up. Does anyone know how far they've gotten a 9550 on stock cool and stock voltate?

BTW, my ram is 1066 ram but it's only running at 800mhz, so I know my ram isn't hitting the end of their ropes.
