Wrong thread, I'm going to move it to the right area for you.

Leonard: [discussing Sheldon's work] At least I didn't have to invent 26 dimensions to get the math to work.
    Sheldon: I didn't invent them. They're there.
    Leonard: Yeah? In what universe?
Sheldon: In all of them, that's the point!

What language do you want to program in?

Go to your local used book store or library and browse for something that you think you can follow.

It depends on what coding you are wanting to achieve. When I started to code I went through several books. Some that I felt were easy to follow were written buy a guy by the name of Larry Ullman. He breaks things done for you so you can understand what the flow is and you woork with the same layers of code throughout the book so you can build your knowledge at your pace. Hope this helps you out.

I think the " for dummies " series is pretty good and ebay has some great prices for these books. A very good book is one called XHTML, CSS and javascript for dummies.

This is in my opinion the best online source for learning most languages

But yeah, for a novice and even intermediate coder, the for dummies series is actually very good. I have several of them and i have been to university for programming and going back next year for my degree in computer science. They are also very handy to keep around as a refresher when needed.
