I added a AVerMedia AVerTV Combo PCIe to my PC.
Although Windows sounds continue to work well (iTunes, and so forth) , audio associated with video under Microsoft Media Center (Vista) is completely obscured by a very loud roar.
I have the latest Windows Update driver for the card (it's newer than the one on the AverTech website - both have the same problem.)
The Live TV, recorded video look fine through Media Center.
I have an Intel DP35DP motherboard. using the on board IDT audio. Vista SP1.
Anyone else seen this problem?
