    DVD-ROM or Burner??

    What is the difference between a dvd burner and a dvd rom drive Would a DVD-rom drive be fine if all i need to do is install games(both cd and dvd rom games)?

    Burners also have the ability to write to DVD +R -R and/or RW.

    If you  don't need this capability, then certainly DVD-ROM will work just fine.

    Since burners are so cheap these days, I recommend you just pay the 5 bucks more and get a burner..

    Just get the Burner, It's worth it.
