Why "Unanswered" takes such a long time to refresh

Just noticed "Unanswered" had already had some threads with replies, but it's still listed in the area of 'Unanswered". I thought it' might be the reason that i didn't refresh the page, but with several refreshes, they are still there. Here is the screenshot.

Except three threads all the others have already replies. and noticed it took more than half an hour.

My question is: Why it had such an issue? coz IMO, once there's reply following a thread, it will be automatically moved from "Unanswered". Or it's quite normal to take half an hour to be removed? Really wonder?!!! Hope i'm not a storm in a teacup!

Umbrella lol I often wonder why it takes sooo long too. In most cases it seems to me that they drop off in about 10 mins or so but I can't say I sit here refreshing my page until it goes away.

The job that refreshes the Unanswered threads is not run instantaniously but it normally runs every 5 minutes. Now that you have mentioned it, there is a bug that is preventing it from running. I will look into this.

The Unanswered posts page is like a toilet.. Sometimes it just won't flush and the admins have to get out the plunger and do some dirty work..

At least, that's what I've grown to imagine it as over the last 6 months or so..
