Here's your rebate form from the Newegg rebate center: http://images10.newegg.com/UploadFilesForNewegg/rebate/SH/Patriot3MIRsApr15Apr3008jh28.pdf, you'll see this form covers your 4/29/08 order date.
With all due respect, you couldn't be more wrong. Newegg keeps the forms there until the rebate deadline for being postmarked runs its course. The month changing has nothing to do it. Believe me, I submit and recieve rebates every single week. I can tell you Just about anything you want to know, which companies, how, when , whos better, who blows, yada yada. I'z serious, rebates are like a supplemental income for me. The forms go a day or two after the deadline for postmark runs.
Now that doesn't mean a form gets inadvertenly deleted by mistake, I mean human error is all around us. Some of us just want to live in a perfect world.
You could switch the rebate dates and playing with the forms, but 1) there's criminal penalty warnings right on the form for doing such things, and 2) the media promotion companies that handle the rebates for the manufacturers can sometimes be very tedious in the examination of said rebate submittal. It's up to you how you want to go about it. But there are consequences, like any other, in this imperfect world.
Now in the case a Seb88, lets hope Newegg helps him out, and no matter what happens, I suspect he'll get remedy and satisfaction. The form for his rebate is indeed not there. But again, the deactivation seems strange.
Peace to all,
Penewah!
