    It's not Pro football (semi-pro to be exact) but I must mention that my Columbus Destroyers (whom I have season tickets to) have made it to ArenaBowl...  After two phenom upsets during the playoffs... whoot...

     

    Nothing spectacular... I'm just perking my team someplace public.. it's what we do...  Big Smile

    I'm actually driving down to see the Arenabowl next weekend...  bought some tickets on stubhub.com ...  15 hour drive ... whew

     

    But it's in New Orleans..  French Quarter on a Saturday night should be fun  Wink

     

    Anyone got any suggestions on places to hit up while I'm there?

    I try and catch one or two of the local Austin Wranglers team. Neon Deion Sanders is part owner of them. They still suck though. But you have to enjoy the cheerleaders.

    At least I dont have to worry about who to pick as the winner of any of the Falcons games this year. LOL

    Well, I will say if the ArenaBowl was being held in some boring town rather than New Orleans, I probably wouldn't go Stick out tongue

     

    Remember too - I'm in Columbus, Ohio.. We have the Cleveland Browns (suck), the Cincinnati Bengals (choke) and the Ohio State Buckeyes (choke twice - Basketball AND Football).  So we've had a rough year ...  We keep making it to the big games, just can't see to close the deal.

     

    So maybe we will this time...   Surprise

    i'm in. i loooove pick 'em leagues.

    the best time of the year is almost hear. i just had a 3 day padded football camp last week, i start practice for HS football in like three weeks... training camp is opening very soon, the preseason will be upon us in less than a month..... its great :D

    who needs a quarterback when you've got AP and chester taylor? plus their O and D lines are among the best there is.  they should be able to control the line of scrimmage and grind it out... which supposedly wins championships

    Hey now....Im in Canton.......be nice abotu what you say about Ohio state, some of us taking that **** real serious like :)

     

    Next year OSU - sucks in everything. Which is horrid seeing I have tix to the OSU Michigan game next year.....

    The browns.........yeah.....You win.
