I have been very pleased with bluehost and have had them for 2 years. And if I see one more 8 page ad for 1and1 in my magazines I'm going to cancel the subscription.

I actually use my own hosting =) If anyone wants to get in on it for cheap I offer unlimited everything(5% max cpu usage) for $5/year =) Unlimited Addons+Emails the works. Cpanel =)

I had a lot of luck with ServerPlace.net when I was on shared hosting plans, but for dedicated servers I use ManageMyBox.com.  I tried a few different plans with different companies, with VPN and the like and MMB has been the most consistent and helpful. :)

I agree that godaddy is pretty lame. I used them once and have had clients who use them, Not easy to work with and not very user friendly to non experienced users. So i dont think highly of godaddy. Not saying they are a bad company, just not what i advise for my clients or even what i like.

I have used www.3ix.xom for a few years now and have had no problems at all. I also point 99% of my clients to 3ix until we start to run our own servers in the future. Cheap, very cheap prices and they have great staff. At first i thought they were to cheao to be true, but here i am 2 years later and still using them for my own websites.
