Sorry Larri, it was so close ... here I'll take a few blind shots for today, hopefully you can work with em Smile

I'll take 50 on the board please cg

    BG1: (16, 16)

    BG2: (15, 3)

Also CG, I'm not sure about it, but I was wondering if it would be ok, for future reference, if we can guess 1 coord and get a hit or miss on it, then guess the second one later. This may already be true, but I would appreciate confirmation. Thanks!

You have to take both shots at the same time.  One at a time would move things quicker than I want them.  :)

    Re: The EggXpert Prize Box

Sorry - went to a movie tuesday night and was in Louisville last night.  I'm going to a church thing after work this evening, but nothing (besides explosions) is going on tomorrow, so there's a chance I'll get the Prize Box updated late tonight.

And I forgot my notebook with the Battleship info in my Jeep - gimme a few...

It's actually where we send our malcontents and less-than-desireables.

But you didn't hear it from me.

I forgot to grab my notebook at lunch, so I'll try to get things caught up tonight.  I'm wiped out from yesterday, though (running on ten hours of sleep over the last two days), so no promises.

If I do get to it, I'll work on the next puzzle, as well.

    Re: The EggXpert Prize Box

Alright, first things first - the updated Prize Box...

No good news for Orin, but 20rules has uncovered the first red star!  20rules, this means you get to steal a letter of your choice - either evermooingcow's N, or Orin27's Z.

Alright, now I'm going to work on those latest Battleship guesses...

    *edit*

    TheLarrikin:
    BG1: (19,8)

    BG2: (15,15)

    (19, 8) - HIT!
    (15, 15) - HIT!

    PROACEX1:
    BG1: 7, 7

    BG2: 12, 6

    (7, 7) - 3.162
    (12, 6) - 6.403

    BATTLESHIP

    2 ships left

    (2, 8) - 2.828
    (3, 7) - 1.414
    (4, 6) - HIT!  (4, 9) - 3.000
    (7, 7) - 3.162
    (11, 8) - 4.243
    (12, 6) - 6.403
    (15, 3) - 6.403  (15, 15) - HIT!
    (16, 16) - 1.414
    (19, 8) - HIT!
    (20, 7) - 1.414

So, TheLarrikin, you nautical devil you, you may select two spaces from the Prize Box!

Alright, let's see if I can't crank out this new puzzle...

    *editedit*

Since the next puzzle will feature our first raffle, and since the raffle depends on who has what letters, I'll wait for 20rules to make his steal selection and for Larrikin to pick his spaces.  The puzzle is ready to be posted, though!
