Apparently the Vikes thought it was Easter not Christmas that was coming up with the egg they are laying tonight.

Re: Pro Football Pool For Eggxperts

Agreed. The Viking coaching decisions and adjustments were terrible tonight, IMHO. As well as the players not holding onto the ball and a lot of Jackson's decision at QB. Granted he is green, but most of that stuff can still be attributed to the coaching.

And I just don't like the new selectee badges as much. Too colorful I guess.

dang, the Bears pounded the Packers today.  Ouch!  So many freak plays that tipped in favor for the Bears today.

shame that the Vikes lost today, everybody thought that they were going to take that game.

The Cardinals screwed me all year.  I picked them a lot this year and they let me down.  Then I go against them and they pull one out in OT.

At least the Giants are in the playoffs.

looks like no NFC south players made it

Little on the Pats Pro Slects. Man, Belicheck knows his shyt man. 3 yrs ago, he drafted Mankins late 1st round and everyone was like, who the freak is this guy. Now he's starting Pro Bowl. I was screamin that draft for a guy from Fresno too, a CB named R. Marshall, I dont even know if hes in the NFL anymore. Figures. Matt Light, no suprise, overdue. Moss, good to see, no suprise, thought he always got a raw deal in Oak and Minn (lets face it he was a kid , with millions in Minn!! LOL). Age changes people.

Defense, awesome for Vince Wilfork man. Lot of people said he rode on Seymours coattails, but Seymour gone most of the year, and there was Wilfork, just muckin it up game in game out. He earned his spot more than anybody.

Finally, Asante Samuel, JUST what his ego needed!!!!! LOL. I still think the jury's out if hes a system guy or a pure talent. Hes gonna want to break the bank once again. He's done in NE. Kraft and BB would never spend big cash in the secondary. Too bad they lost one of those 1st rounders, could have helped. Meriwether last year. Look for another pick this year.

I'm nots suprised anymore. I remember when Kraft gave up a first rounder, TO THE JETS of all people, to get him into Foxborough, and all I remembered was his days in Cleveland. He was a no-face hard to read so-and-so. I thought Kraft had finally lost his marbles, but it turned out, it was the best move hes made since buying the team. We got to wonder though how much he learned from Parcells. I mean, didnt he work under him in NY? I thought so, could be wrong.

The weirdest thing. I went to make my picks for this week approximately two hours prior to game time and I couldnt pick the New England-Giants game. I was able to make the rest of my picks. Thought it was stange not that it will make much of a difference, lol.

My prediction is the Giants will win.

Re: Pro Football Pool For Eggxperts

I am and have been a Redskins fan since I spent 19 years in DC in the 70's and 80's. I am a realist however and with all the injuries and stuff that has happened to them there is little chance that they will win it all. I just hope they get into the playoffs. I do think that they have one of the best management (Owner, GM, Coaches Etc) groups in the game. Unlike the Chargers (my local team where I live, who I do not like) who have great players but absymal management.

My hope is the Redskins, I want to see Joe Gibs get one more Super Bowl before he retires, my second choice is the Pats who I have followed since I was a kid growing up in New England in the 50's and 60's.

Re: Pro Football Pool For Eggxperts

    This season has been amazing.

The Pats go undefeated, The Browns having a way better turn around this year, We almost saw an 0-16 season, we get to watch Adrian Peterson and the Vikes do better than expected this season even though they lost the last two games, The Cowboys and the Packers go 13-3.

The Chargers come back from a 3-5 season to finish 11-5.  Tough season for them.  They had to work their butts off to get the 3rd playoff seed.

Even though my Eagles didn't get in, they avoided a losing record this year.

For the second straight year, three out of four teams int the NFC East got into the playoffs.

The Jags got their groove back this year, go into the playoffs.
