LOL. Yeah, nice cable management there.

If you look at mine, pop the side off and a bunch of cables come out grabbing you.Cool

I did my best (after the pictures) to fix them up a bit. Everything seems to be doing ok 'cool' wise.

mid towers can be difficult for good cable management, especially if you have a non-modular PSU and you can't put a lot behind the mobo tray.  I didn't really know the impact of good airflow until I moved to my full tower.  My load temps went down 5c!

I was getting worried with my temps (mainly my video card). I'm really glad I bought those 2 extra fans. I can feel the heat coming out from the out-take fan. lol

I also downloaded the eVGA precision tool to change my GPU's fan speed from 40% (default) to 80%. I'm thinking about just bumping the darn thing up to 100%, but that is like mega loud. haha

Re: *Sticky* What is in your Rig?

Got another swap out. Me hawked the i7 920, as NE had sent me a C0. It cranked fine neough, and I had no probs with it, but alas the addiction has got me good. I ended up getting a Xeon W3520, which is basically a higher binned D0. I had been reading on the V10, and a number of them revs were benchin the HS itself and not measuring the benefit of the hybrid TEC. (Guess it was done to put it on level measure with other HSFs.) Well I had been told by a number of buds, the V10 does really well on the 1366, so me had to find out for meself. It does indeed do really good.

Anyways, here's a night shot , lol, see how just posted the guts last month.

Re: *Sticky* What is in your Rig?

I had to hawk my Q6600 and i7 920 parts.  All I had left was my CPU cooler, HDDs, p35 and x58 boards.  I snatched up a few cheap parts on ebay  (PD965EE, 4GB DDR3-1600, 9800GTX+) for the P35 and came up with something serviceable.  Gets the job done.

here is my rig not the best cable management but was my first build so i did best i could

couple quick things you could do to improve wire management

pull the gfx card out and the cpu power, run the cpu power under the card to where its in between the case and the blue PCI-e connector, then plug the card back in

next pull the mobo power out and run it behind all the wires so its flat against the back, it should be behind every wire thats there

if you have zip ties, tie all the loose wires near the bottom together

you might also want to invest in a cheap rounded IDE cable, not only do they improve airflow and take up less space but also look alot better
