This is an incredibly tough question. In terms of PC gaming, I think I'm going to have to say I've had the most fun with UT99 playing Instagib LMS. I'm currently playing WoW more than anything, though I'm starting to get bored of it. Waiting for UT3, Crysis and SOF to hit.

Console gaming is a whole different story, I wouldn't be able to choose a favorite.

I loved F.E.A.R and S.T.A.L.K.E.R when I had more time to devote to gaming.

 However I have always been a big fan of space combat games and I am still drawn to the old classics:

(1) Freespace / Freespace 2

(2) Freelancer ( though I much prefer a joystick )

(3) Starlancer ( my favourite by far ... )

 I have to say the above 3 games have consumed more of my time than all the other games I own combined. Eg: I have played Freespace and Starlancer at least 6 times each.

Anyone else think we are in a real space combat sim void? Last good one was Darkstar 1 ( loved that game ). Here's hoping we see some good scs games soon.

My first post on this site, just found it today!

Favorite MMO: Ultima Online, I played that in beta in 1997 and loved it. The whole world of MMOs was brand new and exciting. Plus PKing was a lot of fun in that game. Looking forward to Tabula Rasa, which launches tonight at midnight. It is a  cross between a FPS and MMO. Was a lot of fun in beta.

Civ 4, World in Combat, F.E.A.R are some recent favorites.

M.U.L.E is still my all time favorite computer game. So simple and ahead of its time. Makes me miss my Commodore 64. Remember carrying around the 5 1/4 floppy drive? LOL, those were the days. That is actually where I discovered the original Ultima games. (Designed by Richard Garriott who is making the game Tabula Rasa for NC soft. It all ties together I guess!)

Back in the day was Street Fighter II nobody i knew could hold a candle to me.

well, on PC, the Battlefield series is awesome, always loved them since i picked up BF42 back in '02. BF2 is great and i will get back to playing it more when my new PC is up and running. FEAR was good also, but got boring. looking forward to Crysis.

on the console...i would have to say the GTA series. i just love sandbox style games in general, like the BF and GTA games. gimme GTAIV already!!! oh, and Oblivion.  it is single-handedly the most played console game i own. only GTAIV might challenge the 105 hours i put into Oblivion.

The entire Unreal Tournament catalog.

Looking forward to UT3 like mad!!

Everquest II FTW!

Very hard to pick favorites since I've been playing games ever since the late '70's with my first console The Odyssey 2.

Dungeons and Dragons Stormreach Online,The Civilization series,The Sim City series,

Diablo 1 and 2,NWN, and Counter-Strike Source!!!!!

All time PC game would have to be Half-Life 2 

Fav console games are: NCAA football, Tiger Woods golf.

All time console fav would probably have to be Splinter Cell (the 1st one) for the Xbox 

Stalker had just made the top 10 list.  As for the older gamers, Chrono Trigger IMO was the best game for SNES.

Alas, Bioshock and Half Life still remain at the top. 

Favorite game. It's a classic, but it's been the one my buddies and I rave about at our LAN shin-digs: Star Craft.

On the older systems, Final Fantasy III was the best ever. Zelda: Link to the Past took a close second.

As for some games that I intend to get in the coming months, and they will probably become my favorites:

Supreme Commander

Crysis (I can't WAIT!)

Rise of Legends--is this one any good? I played it once, and I became infatuated with the Clockwork Men.
