I'd like to see a reduced price on SSDs too.

    I happily buy tech! Why wouldn't I?

    NE should try something different!
-Laptops (Lets have discounts on decent laptops, screw retail stores!)
    -External Hard drives
    -Speakers
    -SSD

These would be wonderful items to have on sale!

How about a Win7 "build it yourself" package that comes with everything. Including a TV tuner & Video card that can handle HD content. I always see good deals but never with a TV tuner.

Re: Newegg Black Friday 2009 - Deal Request Thread

I found a new MSI series of laptops on line, the "A" series.  I wish Newegg would sell the A4000 and A6000 MSI laptops for a super dooper black Friday.

PS did you hear that Sears is having a "early" Black Friday?

Re: Newegg Black Friday 2009 - Deal Request Thread

Free shipping on all orders, or orders over $100-200 would be nice.

I am looking at building a new gaming rig

     http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=12542566

Good discounts on any of those items would be really nice. :D

Maybe the 10-15% off orders over 100 or something.

Maybe top 5 best rated monitors on major discount? (make sure some are under $200)

Always need some accessories. Some speakers, mice, keyboards, etc on sale.

Maybe the PS3 with a good size discount, or major combo deal. Since I will probably be purchasing one from whoever has best deal on black friday, possibly cyber monday.

Would be really appreciated for any of this, as I am planning to be spending quite a bit this black friday... more then I ever have and could use the help. Cool

    HOGHAULER:
How about a reduced price on SSDs coupled with some rebates. 60 to 128 gig range would be nice.

Yea, I'd really like to make my boot drive an SSD but I need a reasonable price on a 64gb first, I'm down with this one.

Laptops. Even though I just brought one, I'd like to see better deals. You could probably discount some AMD products... Hmm. I know what'll bring in insane sales. Discounting video games and whatnot. The parents/kids will gobble it up.

    Reasons to get Windows 7:
    Snap to maximize windows
    Formatting huge hard drives
    It's Vista but better

The ASUS M4A78-E sucks, don't get it.

A deal on this APC UPS would be nice:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16842101125

Supports both boost and trim voltage regulation, so even if your power is unstable, you can get by without burning up battery power..  It also supports an external battery pack that you can plug into it to triple the battery life...  It's a really awesome UPS and you can't get it from BestBuy..

I never recommend people run RAID-5 with onboard chipsets.

    Sidicas:

Oh, and Z-5500 at $300 and free shipping would be a ridiculous deal as well.. Even if you can't hit that price, getting as close to it as possible would be awesome..

I'm continually surprised how these speakers went back up in price.  They had gotten down to around $200-240 and I even saw a deal once on Techbargains that had them for $179 a long time ago. Mine are still going strong after 3 years but now I wish I had bought another set back then.

Anyways, my vote is for SSDs.  Preferably 64Gb and up.

2Tb drives don't seem to be as reliable per the reviews and other forums so for regular hard drives I would like to see 1TB and my fav, the Caviar Black 640 from Western Digital on sale.

Yea, they've been on my list for Santa for a very long time..  Somehow I'm still managing with an  $80 2.0 speaker set.  Now that games use the headset so much, I need the speakers even less now than I did way back then.. These speakers are always great around the holidays, and yes, the price on them is always all over the place..   Speakers don't really go obsolete and drop in value like other hardware does, so IMO, they're one of the best things to pour money into..
