We have received an update from our MIS department who has checked the issue and has informed us that this is in fact a problem on Pay Pal's side. Please verify that all your info matches. If after this you still receive errors we suggest that you contact Pay Pal directly for further assistance. Please note that our internal department is working with Pay Pal on enhancing the flow of the ordering procedure.

I don't remember how I found this thread, it was just in an open tab when I came back from getting a drink. Heres a thread I made today before finding this... I guess I should have searched before posting my little rant but I was a little frustrated.

I am also having troubles using Paypal. An update would be much appreciated.

Discussions with paypal have been going on these past 2 weeks or so.  Hopefully we will have a solutions soon.  Sorry guys.

I called up newegg today and asked to speak with a supervisor. He was very nice and even upgraded me to 2 day shipping and threw in a free mp3 player case. I dont think its newegg's fault paypal isnt working because I cant get paypal to work on any other checkout site similar to newegg. I just paid with a credit card and requested a check from paypal. Thanks Newegg!
 

Hmmm... Just found this thread six months after the fact, and I still can't order through PayPal.  Oh well, they tend to scam people on occasion (as with the now-infamous 20% cash-back deal) and their fraud protection isn't worth s**t - a friend lost $2200 on a fraudulent Ebay purchase and PayPal went after HIM when he refused to pay (instead of reversing the transaction paying the scammer).  Unless you do so much business through PP that the majority of your expendable income is locked up in your PP account, just use your debit directly through NewEgg (or better yet, their excellent Preferred Account credit service) as they're both more trustworthy and have better customer support than PayPal.
