    Update: Ah Clocks is one of the songs on the Eastern Energy CD.  I have now added that to my Amazon wish list.  Hopefully my huggie will buy it for me soon.

    I was fixing to give you the CD title........I find their music calming even though some of it is very high energy..

    Volfann - Great taste in music.  I saw Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band recently and he is as good as ever.

     Right now, I am listening to Kansas, "Carry on Wayward Son."

    And Jim Croce is awesome, one of my favorite musicians... I just wish he hadn't gone so soon... so much more he could have done. 

     

    All-in-all though I listed to basically everything but rap (sorry, but I like music, not pointless noise). I've got everything from AFI to Merle Haggard to Metallica to Johnny Horton to Beethoven on here...

    Kenny Chesney - "Beer in Mexico".  You have to throw in a little country now and again.  Especially a song that talks about beer.  And the line "Too old to be wild and free, too young to be over the hill" is very fitting right now.

    Wow, one of my favorite songs EVER (but somehow, the only ppl I've ever met who know the song/like Kansas are ppl on this board... perhaps my demographic is not quite right for Kansas, but MAN is that song amazing~~

    I have to confess that the only other Kansas song I've really liked is "Dust in the Wind" -- Volfann and Ctfils and all you other Kansas fans, can you recommend other songs of theirs I might like?

    As for me, I am currently listening to "Ships" by Umbrellas... that singer has the most beautifully fragile but soulful voice I've ever heard, and what a wonderful but melanchlic atmosphere this song evokes... <3 <3 <3

    I've got my iPod on Shuffle, so it throws songs at me.  Currently: "I Wanna Rock," by Twisted Sister--man, I haven't heard that since...oh...it came out, probably.Woohoo
