I think its great that the new has already arrive, the i7, the phenom II x4, ddr3 and the mobo to go with it. Why i say this? Well it makes the components of the generation before them drop in prices. Those looking for the new can go with the bleeding edge, and those out for value can go with the the 2nd gen like me ^.^

well i guess Q6600 time its over, what about Q6700, i wonder if it will disappear as q6600 also

I still have a Q6600...is it going to disappear out of my system? Cuz I can't afford to buy a new one right now.. I'M POOR DAMNIT!

Phenom II x4 still lags behind Q6600. There's still a way b4 i7 drops in price considering the economy as sluggish as is. I doubt the transition will be swift.
