If you are formally organized as a 501(c)(3) corporation, you may find some help at www.TechSoup.org. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to be fully supported by them, but, again, if you are legally qualified, it is worth the bother.

Are you interested in older computers? I have a Dell Dimension XPS R450 that I have just reformatted and reloaded Win98 with all updates and Windows Office Small Business 97, including Publisher and Powerpoint.

When I read your blog, I saw myself. I'm 61, disabled, and a self professed geek. I have a bunch of video cards, memory, zip drives etc. that I've been waiting for the right opportunity to give it away. If you could give me a contact to get in touch with, I'd be happy to pack-up the stuff, and forward it your way.

Its people like you that help to keep this project going and we deeply appreciatte it. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you having a bit of heart trouble here and get test today on what can be done. From the looks of things I will be around for a long time to come :)
