Toshiba HD-A20 Updated To HD-A30

Be warned avid shoppers looking to enter the HD world. The budget minded HD DVD player from Toshiba has recently been updated and the Toshiba HD-A2 will shortly be obsolete. Obsolete does NOT mean useless, as a matter of fact now is the best time to find a good deal on companies looking to get rid of inventory. ;)

One of the new key features in the HD-A30 is the ability to display at a resolution of 1080p, where 1080i was the limit in the previous Toshiba HD DVD player. In addition, the new hardware has built in ability to connect to the internet and update itself and essentially stay frequent with firmware upgrades. 

You have been warned, if you are about to make an investment, get the new model HD-A30. However, if you are just looking for a deal, going for the HD-A2 is a safe bet for a quality player.
