Good day, EggXperts -
Nothing is more important to the growth and success of our community site than your continued feedback. Therefore, we want to keep you guys at the core of our decision-making.
Recently, we have been running another Poll: Single Chat vs. Multiple Chat Rooms. We have noticed that, even with several open Chat rooms, users tend to gather in strictly one channel; as always, we would like to do what's best to meet your needs and employ our resources, so let us know what you think and what you have observed. When you have time, please head on over to cast your vote and share your thoughts. Thank you, EggXpert Team |

Hey there EggXperts, When you have time, be sure to check out the March 18th Newegg Newsletter. The main focus of this edition was to bring back some of our more popular deals from past newsletters. The best part
is, many of the returning deals - from specific memory or keyboards to laptop accessories in general - are thanks to your input and the feedback of our community as a whole via the Return these Newsletter Deals forum. So check it out, and let your voice be heard. Keep leaving us feedback, and we'll continue hearing you out. This is only the beginning, and we hope to bring back even bigger deals in the future. Take it easy, guys. Thank you, EggXpert Team |

Hey everyone,
We would like to compare your direct feedback with the site data recorded by our own systems. Some of you use more than one internet browser when surfing EggXpert.com, but we want to know which browser you use the most for viewing the site and any reasons why.
Currently, we are conducting a poll in the Off Topic section. Please cast your vote when you have the time. Your feedback is extremely valuable and much appreciated. The poll is scheduled to end on Wednesday, March 19, 2008.
Thank you,
The EggXpert Team |

The EggXpert Team is Interviewing NVIDIA! 2/22/08
NVIDIA, the '07 Forbes Company of the Year best known for its GeForce video card series, has kindly agreed to a casual Q&A session with EggXpert staff early next month. What we need from you, dear users, are the questions to ask them! Please click here, or visit this following thread and let us know what you want to know from NVIDIA: If you haven't heard yet...
For the past several weeks, we asked (and you told us) what items and big names in the tech industry you were most interested in, and it was your feedback which ultimately led to us approaching NVIDIA. If all goes well, it will become a monthly feature with different manufacturers - you let us know who you want to hear from, what you want to know, and we'll find out for you.
The last day to submit a question for NVIDIA is February 29, 2008; later questions may or may not make the cut. Results of the interview will be released in a March newsletter.

02/11/08 - NEW UBERS!
As our site grows, it is only natural that we expand our ability to manage the forums and keep communication crisp and clean. It was recently noted that two of our most active and helpful community members hang around EggXpert more than some of our incumbent Ubers do. And, since we no longer plan on conducting user elections, it was also recommended that we should seriously consider them for elevation to Uber status. Thus, it is our great pleasure to announce that GmsCool and Kunzy have both accepted the lure of greater power and corruption, and both have immediately been promoted to Uber status.
What is an Uber? Quite simply, an Uber is a regular member of the community whose activity and integrity are valued enough by their fellow users that they are rewarded with their own private forum, nearly all the powers of a moderator and the trust of the entire EggXpert community. Ubers, due to their dedication, knowledge and activity level, are often the first source of escalated help a user can seek; they can also relay messages directly to Egg Staff and put out fires before the smoke reaches our eyes. They are a voluntary force comprised of individuals not employed by EggXpert, but who still wish to help its growth and development.
Please join us in congratulating GmsCool and Kunzy, thanking them for their efforts which have made this move natural and wishing them clear skies as they take on this new endeavour.

Hey EggXperts,
If you’re in driving distance of Carolina, you are in for a treat. This Saturday, January 26th, is the Carolina Games Summit, a combination video game tournament, tech exhibit and town hall for game developers and speakers. It will be 10AM–9PM at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, North Carolina. If you have an open date, want to listen to live music, play games all day and learn from the folks who get it done in the gaming/tech industry, this is right up your alley.
Tickets are $10, available either on the spot or online and cover the costs of any and all tournaments, sessions or workshops. Click here for a complete list of games and more info on each.
The Summit will have its fair share of sponsors for the kind of personal interaction and Q&A which is making these events more and more popular – and visible – around the country, including online magazine the escapist, Bawls Guarana of caffeinated gaming energy fame and BFG Tech. Newegg is technically an exhibitor as well but, unfortunately, will not have a physical presence at the event.
While the Summit is all fun and games, this will also be a chance for developers and industry pros to teach young minds about the world in which they work, demonstrate what man and machine working together are currently capable of and the possibilities for the future.
Head on over if you have the chance. Let us know how it goes!

Merchandising VP, Bernard Luthi addresses PayPal Issue
December 4, 2007
Seasons Greetings EggXperts,
As part of our
continuing efforts to bring our customers the best selection of
products, deals and promotions, Newegg partnered with PayPal to bring
our valued customers a "20% off, up TO $50" limited time special
promotional offer. This promotion was scheduled to run from Monday,
November 26th through Wednesday, November 28th, or until the allocated
promotional funding expired.
The popularity of this promotion
surpassed everyone's expectations with over almost 16,000 orders
successfully qualifying in the first few hours of the launch. The
overwhelming popularity of the promotion quickly depleted all allocated
funds, and once the funds were expired, we immediately removed the
associated marketing materials. Unfortunately, some of our valued
customers were in the process of making purchases and still under the
impression that the promotion was in effect, and may have been
inconvenienced or not received an expected benefit.
Newegg
prides itself on always providing the highest level of customer
service. Customer satisfaction is our primary mission. As a result,
Newegg will review all purchases made utilizing PayPal between
2:30-5:30 P.M. (PST) on Monday, November 26th and apply the “20% off,
up to $50” to each customer placing an order using PayPal during that
time period.
Please know and understand that we have carefully
reviewed the direct and online feedback from our customers regarding
this activity. We will take all necessary steps to ensure the highest
level of customer satisfaction as we plan our next PayPal promotion.
We
thank you for your business, apologize for any misunderstanding arising
from this promotion and look forward to bringing you more exciting
deals in the future.
Warmest Wishes, Bernard Luthi Vice President, Merchandising, Newegg.com

Attention all Eggxperts,
Holidays are upon us and we are ready to leak out some of the deals Newegg has
to offer to our beloved community prior to them going public. We are going to
leak some of the deals only to users that join us in our EggXpert chat room.
This is the best we could do to give our EggXperts a head start! We are also
going to be leaking separate deals at 11:00pm PST tomorrow (11/22) to our
community members to see via the chat room. The same will occur for Cyber Monday
if we can get the details in time. We hope that you can join us in the chat
room!
See you there!
