Newsletter Revamp - Feedback Requested!
Currently planned for the redesigned newsletter is an elimination of the newsletter email itself. Instead of sending the entire update through a size-restricted mass email, the Newsletter tab and landing page will be updated with new stories and articles. This will allow us more freedom to modify content and layout, and provide easier, logical access to new information. In essence, the Newsletter tab will become an EggXpert news page.
The news section will be completely redesigned and feature multimedia – from pictures to art to video – in an effort to diversify how news is presented. Additional features will include staff editorials, tech reviews and links, a user-run advice column and award, a photo gallery news section and a more in-depth member interview.
Keep in mind that any of these features can originate from the user population. Do you want to take on the unique perspective of a beat writer and grill your forum friends for a Q&A? How about giving the community a video demo of your gaming prowess? We never turn down a worthy contender.
